Join Frances Rice to celebrate the seasons with two activity days to choose from! Students will rotate through craft centers to make ornaments and gifts in the morning and afternoon, and will have a picnic lunch, read a story, and sing-along!
Windward Holidays I
Have fun making wrapping paper with styrofoam printing techniques and holiday cards! Create holiday ornaments you can hang in a window or on your tree using sticks, pinecones, beads, felt, buttons and other craft supplies. Make salt dough ornaments, winter village buildings and trees from paper, cardstock, and other decorative craft materials.
December 6th at the Sequim Dungeness Schoolhouse, 10am-3pm
December 10th at the WSU Classroom in Port Hadlock, 10am-3pm
Windward Holidays II
Sew a felt ornament or weave a felt coaster as a gift, create a beaded snowflake ornament, and a winter solstice lantern. Make bath bombs, holiday pop up cards and 3d paper trees, and learn how to add a drawing to a candle to decorate it for a usable gift.
December 13th at the Sequim Dungeness Schoolhouse, 10am-3pm
December 14th at the WSU Classroom in Port Hadlock, 10am-3pm
